Marketing Intern

This role offers the opportunity to be part technologist, part marketeer as you help us to refine our market proposition and develop our sales and marketing approach on a global basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect engagement: You will be responsible for encouraging prospective clients to engage with the business and talk about new opportunities.
  • Community engagement: We are going to create a community of talentpuddle users and you will help create it.
  • Brand: You will spread the word, leading from the front building case studies, candidate experiences and client stories.

Likely skills and Experience:

  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • The ideal candidate is self-motivated and flexible. You should be process driven but able to deal with rapid change in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to listen to clients and candidates and do something with the information you hear
  • A solid track record in technology sales would be amazing but you are an intern, we just want you to get what we sell
  • A love of recruitment, a passion to do a good job and a focus on the future
  • The ability to work well with others. We work very collaboratively here.

  • Proven ability to plan, commit and execute.  No commitment-phobes needed.

Knowledge of high growth technology organisations is desirable but not essential, your professionalism and ability to create markets are more important.

We have a 5 year growth plan, genuinely looking for the next leaders of the business. talentpuddle. will provide you opportunities to progress, do interesting work and travel.

In an ideal world our Internships are aimed at placement year undergraduate students and are fixed term assignments. However we would welcome potential candidates looking for a more flexible assignment.

The primary responsibility for the role is to support the business as it grows, delivering interesting and engaging social media content.  We want you to engage with our clients, using the latest tools to engage in a true talent pool.

To succeed at this role, you will need to be professional, engaging and with a detail-oriented mind set, keeping track of multiple assignments, multiple candidate conversations as they move through the process.  You will be a critical member of the talentpuddle. team and need to balance big picture thinking with tactical execution of delivery plans.

  • Excellent English communications skills - written and oral.  Clear and concise whilst looking for innovative ways to spread the word.
  • Working Excel or Numbers skills a strong plus.
  • A hands-on, can-do approach to solving problems.
  • The ability to learn new processes and technology quickly.
  • The ability to work well with others. We work very collaboratively here.
  • Eager to learn new skills - and not afraid to ask questions.

  • Must be highly detail oriented and able to create and edit written work effectively.
  • A good sense of humour. (There will be days when you'll need it.)

Education:
Ideally you should be be enrolled on a university course and taking a placement year as part of your degree course, however we can review this when we talk.
